Mr. Rooker

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will set out in the OFFICIAL REPORT the current rates of pay for each grade in the quality assurance directorate along with details of area allowances payable.

Mr. Mason,

pursuant to his answer [OFFICIAL REPORT, 23rd May 1974; Vol. 874, col. 238], supplied the following information:

The current rates of pay of non-industrial grades employed in the quality assurance directorates are as under. The rates quoted are subject to the addition where appropriate of £228 per annum Inner London weighting and £110 per annum Outer London weighting.
