§ Mr. Anthony Grantasked the Secretary of State for Industry what has been the effect of the task forces set up for Scotland, Wales, Workington and Hartlepools in terms of employment and new industries; and whether he will publish the task force reports.
§ Mr. HefferWe have already had some success in attracting new industries and employment to the task force areas. Much still needs to be done, however, and our efforts are continuing. The reports of the task forces will not be published but a statement will be made following completion of the Steel Closure Review.
