§ Mr. Wakehamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he will be able to make a statement on the proposals submitted to him in May 1974 by the Port of London Authority.
§ Mr. MulleyThe PLA recently submitted revised alternative proposals for a seaport at Maplin and my officials are now studying these in consultation with the National Ports Council and other interested parties. Among the many issues to be taken into account will be the outcome of the current review of the airport project about which my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trade has promised to make a further statement before the Summer Recess.
