§ Mr. Sproatasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what plan the Government have to negotiate the EEC fishery arrangements before 1982, following the United Nations Law of the Sea Conference;
(2) whether the Government propose to extend British fishing limits to 200 miles even if the United Nations Law of the Sea Conference does not come to a unanimous view on this subject.
§ Mr. BuchanI regret that I cannot indicate what the decisions of Her Majesty's Government will be following the United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea until the results of that conference are known.
