§ Mr. Sydney Irvingasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what steps he is taking to set up the new Air Pollution Management Group; and what proposals he has for involving such professional associations as the Association of Public Health Inspectors, where members are concerned with the enforcement of clean air legislation.
§ Mr. Denis HowellThe first meeting of the Air Pollution Management Group took place on 29th April. It was agreed that local authority associations should be involved in the work of the group and letters have recently gone out to those associations, including the Asociation of Public Health Inspectors, inviting them to a meeting to consider how best this can be done.
