320Wmy Department, together with the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, maintains liaison with the United Kingdom offshore operators to minimise the possibility of damage to fishing gear from oil drilling and associated operations. The Dumping at Sea Bill, introduced by my right hon. Friend the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, has now completed its passage through Parliament and will provide statutory control over the dumping of wastes from ships and marine structures loaded in the United Kingdom.
