§ Mr. Nicholas Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what was the average domestic rate paid by householders in 1953–54, 1963–64 and 1973–74, both at constant prices and in money terms; and what is the estimated average domestic rate for 1974–75;
(2) if he will publish a table showing the indices of domestic rates since 1955, comparing them with (a) indices of average earnings and (b) rate of growth of gross national product;
(3) if he will publish a table showing the indices of business rates since 1955, comparing them with (a) indices of company sector profits, net of capital consumption and stock appreciation, and (b) total industrial production.
