asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what discussions took place with the police in Birmingham prior to and in connection with the Orangemen's march in North Birmingham on 8th June; and if he will make a statement.

The Chief Constable of West Midlands tells me that there was consultation between the police and the organisers about the route and timing of the procession.
