HC Deb 21 June 1974 vol 875 c309W
Mr. Roderick

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make proposals for establishing further centres in Wales where people with kidney disorders can be treated when emergencies such as the technicians' withdrawal of labour makes the home-based machines inoperable.

Mr. John Morris

The two area health authorities which administer dialysis units in Wales have the duty to make the best possible alternative arrangements for patients on home dialysis who are unable for any reason to use their home-based machines, and will continue to make every endeavour to this end.
