Mr. Arnold Shaw

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT her estimate of the total amount spent in the last year to a convenient date by the National Health Service under contracts placed centrally or by hospital authorities on each of the following drugs: halo-thane, Chlorpromazine, ampicillin, cloxacillin, tetracycline, methicillin, phenethicillin, sodium diatrizoate, fusidic acid, hydrocortisone, sodium succinate Inj., together with her estimate of the amount by which the current year's spending on these ten medicines will exceed the 1964 figure of £1,990,000.
