§ 51. Mr. Evelyn Kingasked the Attorney-General if he will refer to the Director of Public Prosecutions, with a view to prosecution under the Race Relations Act, the Anti-Immigration Standing Committee, following the telegram sent by it to the Prime Minister announcing its intention to urge British people who consider race relations policy to be contrary to their interest and well-being to defy the law.
The Attorney-GeneralI have consulted the Director of Public Prosecutions, who has advised that, on the evidence which has been sent to him, there is no reasonable prospect of a conviction under Section 6 of the Race220W Relations Act 1965. I agree with his advice.
