HC Deb 20 June 1974 vol 875 c258W
Mr. Warren

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what was the export value of British made airborne and ground electronic navigation equipment, which fell within that defined by the international aviation authorities as mandatory for meeting the en-route and terminal navigation air traffic requirements, according to the statistics supplied by the manufacturers to his Department in the 12 months up to the 31st March 1974.

Mr. Meacher

I have been asked to reply.

The value of total exports of airborne and ground radar equipment and other electronic navigational aids, derived from manufacturers' returns to my Department, amounted to £20.7 million in 1973. This figure, which is the latest available, is not specifically related to the requirements of international authorities.
