asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many persons convicted during the last twenty-five years of:

  1. (a)murder;
  2. (b)crimes of violence for which they have received sentences of ten years or more;
  3. (c)crimes of sexual assault against children,

have committed similar offences when they have been released,

  1. (i)on licence, and
  2. (ii) at the end of their sentences.
