HC Deb 18 June 1974 vol 875 c99W
56. Mr. Willey

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will make a statement on the projects for the replacement of High Southwick junior school and Redby infants' school in Sunderland.

Mr. Armstrong

As my right hon. Friend said in the House on 2nd April, the school building programme for 1974–75 will deal entirely with basic needs rather than with improvement projects. These two replacement projects will not, therefore, be eligible to start in 1974–75.
