HC Deb 18 June 1974 vol 875 c83W
34. Mr. Churchill

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the waiting period for X-rays at Park Hospital, Davyhulme; and what steps she is taking to improve the situation.

Dr. Owen

On 31st December 1973, the latest date for which information is available, out of a total of 13 patients, eight had waited less than one month, four from two to six months and one over six months. Facilities will be expanded and improved with the completion of a new X-ray department at Park Hospital. This is included in the development begun in September 1972 and it is expected to be brought into use in 1976.
