§ 45. Mr. Bryan Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will make it her policy to end the employment of all agency staff in the National Health Service, and announce a date by which this is to be achieved.
§ Dr. OwenI expect employing authorities to restrict any employment of agency staff to the minimum necessary to maintain services to patients. I am reviewing the use of agency nurses in the National Health Service.
