§ 50. Mr. Hardyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she is satisfied with the availability of assistance for National Health Service patients who are suffering from chest disease by the provision of portable breathing appliances.
§ Dr. OwenPortable breathing appliances are issued on loan by health authorities to patients for whom they are prescribed by hospital consultants and I am satisfied that this is the best way of providing an effective service to the patient.
