§ Dr. GilbertThe yield in 1974-75 from vehicle excise duty is estimated to be £455 million for England and £25 million for Wales. The yield of the hydrocarbon oil duties on motor fuel is estimated to be £1,465 million for the United Kingdom. I regret that separate estimates for England and Wales have not been made.
§ Mr. Freudasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what additional annual revenue would be produced by an increase of lp on the duty charged on a gallon of petrol.
