§ Mr. Roderickasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will consult with the Welsh National Water Development Authority and the local authorities in Wales about their staffing requirements to enable them to identify those ratepayers whose premises are not connected to mains sewerage; and if he will assist them temporarily so that they may not be charged a sewerage rate in 1975–76.

§ Mr. John MorrisThe Welsh National Water Development Authority has written to local authorities within its area asking them to identify properties for which main drainage facilities are not available. It is for the authorities concerned to decide whether they have sufficient staff to fulfill this task.
