Dr. Gilbert

Yes. Two paintings, namely, "A Shooting Party at Meggernie" by Richard Ansdell, and "Portrait of Isabella, Countess of Sefton" by Thomas Gainsborough, and a drawing, "The Story of William Tell" by Josef Anton Koch, have been accepted. The total cost borne by the National Land Fund after allowing for relief from estate duty and capital gains tax is £116,550. An announcement on destination will be made by the Minister for the Arts in due course.
