HC Deb 12 June 1974 vol 874 c568W
70. Mr. McCrindle

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what plans he has for the expansion of Stagnated and Southern airports.

Mr. Clinton Davis

Any expansions of Stagnated or Southern airports are in the first instance matters for respectively the British Airports Authority and the Southern District Council. It is premature to speculate about the future role of the two airports until the current reappraisal of the Mapping project has been completed.
