HC Deb 12 June 1974 vol 874 c567W
Mr. Robert Taylor

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will express to the Government of Pakistan Her Majesty's Government's concern about the possible danger to British citizens and the relatives of British citizens from the anti-Ahmadiyya riots throughout the province of Punjab.

Mr. Ennals

No. We have received no reports that British citizens have been endangered. If such situations were to arise, I am sure that the Pakistan authorities would take steps to ensure their safety as they will be doing in any case for their own nationals.
