§ Mrs. HartIn the year ending 31st March we provided £688 million in capital aid to India. This includes the £10 million special supplementary loan which I announced to Parliament on 27th March.—[Vol. 871, c. 722.] A pledge of British financial support for India in 1974-75 will be made at the Aid India Consortium meeting in Paris on 13th and 14th June. I expect this to be above the amount we spent last year.
