Friend to take a decision as soon as possible.
§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what building works have been put in approved programmes for Alnwick College of Education during the last three years; and what was the cost of those works.
§ Mr. Gerry FowlerA major scheme to bring up to standard the library, teaching and communal accommodation was included in the programme for 1972–73 and a minor scheme of conversions to provide additional residential places was in the programme for 1973–74. The respective costs on tender were £178,852 and £18,384.
