HC Deb 11 June 1974 vol 874 cc498-9W
Mr. Newens

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list all the agreements made between the representatives of employers and employees to which the Pay Board has objected since 28th February 1974; and if he will indicate those in which he has exercised his powers of consent, as provided by the terms of the Counter-Inflation Act, to enable those agreements to be implemented.

Mr. Booth

It is not the practice of the Pay Board to disclose information relating to individual settlements unless such disclosure is incidental to the exercise of its functions. My right hon. Friend has given his consent under the Counter-Inflation Act to settlements in the coal min- ing industry, for Glasgow firemen, Hull—Grimsby freezer fishermen, and employees of Tod Holdings Ltd.—Shetland Overload Ltd.
