Mr. Redmond

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what gross figure would have to be paid to the Prime Minister in order, after present rates of income tax had been deducted and assuming no other income, to provide him with his present net income including allowances for official purposes.

This must depend on the Prime Minister's personal tax liability, and this is his own private affair, as for any other taxpayer.
