§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he is yet in a position to make a statement about the outcome of his discussions regarding the possibility of financial support from public funds for the projected newspaper planned by former employees of Beaverbrook Newspapers in Glasgow.
§ Mr. HefferThe Employees Enterprise applied on 4th June for assistance under Section 7 of the Industry Act towards a new newspaper. This is being considered.
