§ Mr. Michael Lathamasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will seek to establish from the Royal Netherlands Government what subsidies, both direct and indirect, they provide for the glasshouse section of their horticultural industry; and whether he will list them in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
§ Mr. MoyleNo. The EEC Commission, in consultation with all member States, is currently engaged upon an examination of aids given to horticulture with a view to bringing about fairer conditions of competition between growers in the Community. A special approach to the Royal Netherlands Government would be premature and an unnecessary duplication of effort and resources.
