§ Mr. Grimondasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the judgment of the International Court of Justice on the Icelandic fisheries dispute and on the future policy of the Government about fishing limits.
§ Mr. EnnalsI would refer the right hon. Member to my hon. Friend's answer to a Question by the hon. Member for Haltemprice (Mr. Wall) on 29th July about the judgment of the International Court of Justice. The question of fishing limits is one of the issues being discussed at the Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea, now meeting in Caracas. I described our policy at the conference in a speech which I gave there on 4th July, a copy of which has been placed in the Library.
