asked the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what is the average age of hospital buildings for (a) mentally ill and (b) the mentally handicapped, respectively, in Wales;

(2) what is the average age of all hospital buildings in Wales.

It is not possible to give a meaningful average age of such buildings which cover a very wide range of age, size and type.
