HC Deb 30 July 1974 vol 878 c167W
Mr. Michael Clark Hutchison

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has drawn the attention of local authorities in Scotland to the problems and possible dangers of using high alumina cement in school and other public buildings.

Mr. William Ross

This is a matter for concern, and I circulated information and advice on this problem, including results as they became available from the continuing work of the Building Research Establishment, to Scottish local authorities on 1st March, 7th June and 11th July. Further detailed advice will be issued shortly.
