What has happened to the promised White Paper on the safeguards to the public which are desirable in relation to personal information stores held in Government computers.
§ LORD HARRIS OF GREENWICHA report on the handling and safeguarding of personal information in Government computers will form a supplementary part of the White Paper, which will deal with the recommendations of the Younger Committee on Privacy in general. The White Paper will be published as soon as is feasible.
