HC Deb 29 July 1974 vol 878 c67W
Mr. Tierney

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will give urgent consideration to the resiting of the Tile Cross School, Sheldon, away from the Elmden Airport flight path.

Mr. Armstrong

My right hon. Friend is aware of the problems facing this school. It is for the local education authority to decide whether to submit a proposal for its replacement as one of the limited number of primary school improvement or replacement schools to be started during 1974–75 to benefit pupils living in areas of special social need.
