§ Mr. O'MalleyThe figures for normal earnings of £20 for all the family sizes requested, both when the man is employed and when he is unemployed, were given in tables 2–5 of my reply to the hon. Member's earlier Question of 15th May—[Vol. 873, c.464–70]. The figures for normal earnings of £45, £50, £55 and £60 for a man with a wife and two children, and a man with a wife and one child, when employed, were given in my replies on 2nd July and 10th July respectively. Following is the additional information requested, on the same assumptions as those used previously. To preserve the basis of comparison the calculations do not take account of the new needs levels, announced on 22nd July, for rent and rate rebates.
