§ Mr. Newensasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is satisfied that the regulations on the use of toxic chemicals in agriculture and horticulture are revised sufficiently frequently 59W to prevent injury to livestock, domestic pets and human beings immediately any danger or potential danger is identified.
§ Mr. BishopI can assure my hon. Friend that the effectiveness of existing safeguards is kept under continuous and systematic review by the expert Advisory Committee on Pesticides and Other Toxic Chemicals and that rapid action is taken to effect any necessary changes.
