§ Mr. Milneasked the Attorney-General (1) what inquiries have been made of the Swiss Bank Corporation in connection with his investigation of alleged forgeries of bank documents referred to him by the Lord President of the Council with a view to prosecution;
(2) if he will arrange to inform Parliament of the outcome of his investigation into the alleged forgeries of bank documents; and if he will arrange to make a progress report before the Summer Recess.
The Attorney-GeneralThis matter is subject of a police investigation. It would be premature to give details of the investigation. I cannot undertake to make a report before the Summer Recess.
