HC Deb 24 July 1974 vol 877 cc492-3W
Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Minister for the Civil Service whether he will now put out to private tender, or seek to make other alternative arrangements, for those services which Her Majesty's Stationery Office is no longer rendering to Parliament.

Mr. Robert Sheldon

No. The present dispute over pay and conditions will eventually be resolved. The essential requirements of Parliament for papers have been met by alternative arrangements, though in a less satisfactory way.
