§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what arrangements exist for threshold payments to members of the Metropolitan Police; and when the first of any such payments will actually be made to the men and women concerned.
§ Dr. SummerskillIn accordance with Police Council agreements the police will receive all the threshold payments available under the stage 3 Pay Code. An amendment to Police Regulations giving effect to these agreements is due to come into operation on 16th August. Payment, with arrears, will be made to Metropolitan Police officers on 28th August.
