asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the reason for the delay in starting work on' the proposed A361 diversion scheme at Nunney Catch, Somerset.

This scheme has relatively low economic value and its priority is now a matter for the highway autho rity, Somerset County Council, within the framework of its transport policy and programme.
