asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the number of Army and Air Force units per annum visiting the following countries for training purposes (a) Malta, (b) Cyprus, and (c) the Far East.

The number of training visits from the United Kingdom to Malta, Cyprus and the Far East by Army and Royal Air Force Regiment units of company size and above and Royal Air Force detachments of two or more aircraft planned for 1974–75 is as follows:
