Mr. Sproat

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list educational and other establishments in Scotland now providing oil-related courses at whatever level; what those courses are; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Campbell

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland which universities and colleges of technology or other centres of further education hold courses in oil technology and/or related subjects.

Mr. William Ross

I am sending the hon. Members copies of a pamphlet published by the Scottish Education Department which sets out the courses available and the institutions concerned.
