Mr. Tebbitasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if, in his consideration of the school building programme in the Chingford area of the London borough of Waltham Forest, he will take account of the increased burden expected to be placed on the public sector of education by the proposed closure of Normanhurst School.
§ Mr. ArmstrongMy right hon. Friend understands that the Waltham Forest Education Authority is currently investigating the likely effects of the closure of this school.
