HC Deb 23 July 1974 vol 877 c412W
Mr. Warren

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what arrangements exist between Her Majesty's Government and the French Government for the use of facilities, provided in France for Anglo-French aircraft projects, by French companies to enable them to produce defence equipment for sale to countries to which the sale of similar British equipment is banned by Her Majesty's Government.

Mr. William Rodgers

The understanding between Her Majesty's Government and the French Government is that the use to which jointly-funded facilities are put in support of any sale to a third country is a matter for consultation and agreement.
