asked the Secretary of State for Industry what action has been taken on building of further advance factories in Wales and attracting new industrial development.

Mr. Heffer

Of the factories authorised in January 1973, nine are still in process of building. On 3rd July I authorised a further four factories, making a total of 13. The expectation is that at all these factories construction will be completed over the period up to the end of 1975. I have every confidence that when they are ready tenants will be found who will provide locally a welcome number of new jobs.
