Mrs. Kellett-Bowman

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he intends to adopt the cheap meat scheme of the EEC, and if he will make it available to all retirement pensioners, not merely to those on supplementary benefit.

The Government are considering whether to operate the scheme in the United Kingdom. A further statement will be made as soon as possible.
