HC Deb 22 July 1974 vol 877 c324W
Mr. Morgan

asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he is aware of the nuisance and annoyance caused to residents of the Vale of Clwyd by low-flying military aircraft, particularly during the evening; and if he will take steps to remedy this state of affairs.

Mr. Judd

I fully appreciate that low-flying training can cause a measure of disturbance to those on the ground despite our efforts to keep it to a minimum. Unfortunately, such training, however, is indispensable to the maintenance of operational efficiency.
