HC Deb 22 July 1974 vol 877 c389W
Mr. Campbell

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many objections have been received up to the latest date for which figures are available from residents and/or societies regarding the construction of Inverkip power station from (a) West Dunbartonshire, (b) Argyllshire, (c) Renfrewshire and td) Ayrshire, respectively; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. William Ross

I have received tour objections to the South of Scotland Electricity Board's application, under Section 2 of the Electric Lighting Act 1909 to construct a fourth generating set at Inverkip Power Station. Three are from Renfrewshire and one from Glasgow.
