Mr. Hooley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if it is the intention of the Government to repeat in 1974 the payment of a £10 Christmas bonus to retirement pensioners.

Mr. Atkinson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if it is her intention to pay national insurance beneficiaries a 1974 Christmas bonus; and, if it is, what will be the total cost to the Exchequer.
