HC Deb 22 July 1974 vol 877 c385W
Mr. Stanley

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether his recently announced extension of time for representations about the Channel Tunnel high-speed line from July until October of this year applies to individual and group representations as well as to those being made by local authorities.

Mr. Mulley

I would expect further consultation to be largely between the Government, British Rail and the local planning authorities in the light of representations made during the public consultations which have now been completed. But I would not exclude consideration of further representations, especially from Tonbridge, where specific proposals were published considerably later than those for other stretches of the route.
