asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if she will now relax the credit restrictions currently affecting the installation of central heating appliances.

The question of credit restrictions has been carefully considered but my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer did not consider it appropriate to take action on this at the present time.
